GENERAL QUESTIONS

I am a coach for an athlete or team, where should I report?
Each solo athlete and team receives one coach badge when picking up their race number. This badge grants the coach access to the aid station tent.

Can I run or bike with the athletes?
Running alongside the athletes is allowed, as long as other participants are not hindered.
However, biking alongside the athletes is not permitted!

 

Is there a heated area where I can warm up?
Yes, the canteen on the premises is open and heated throughout the entire 24-hour event.

 

Can I still cancel my registration?
Without an Acti+ insurance, it is unfortunately no longer possible to cancel your registration.
If you have an Acti+ insurance, you can cancel your registration through your SQM Time account.

 

Can I as a spectator enter the aid station or support tent?
No, the aid station is exclusively accessible to running athletes and their designated coach.

 

Is the food at the aid station also for coaches?
No, the food and supplies at the aid station are solely for running athletes.

 

What happens if I need to stop during the race?
If you decide to stop, please report to the organization at the aid station. This ensures that we know you're safely off the course.
Be sure to return your timing chip and rest meter board!

SOLO ATHLETES QUESTIONS

Can I change my contest?
Yes, you can make changes via your SQM Time account. Log in to your account and adjust your registration there.

 

Do I need to reserve a spot for my vehicle on the route?
No, it is not necessary to reserve a spot for your vehicle on the route in advance.
Please note: you can only leave the premises once the event is over. It is not possible to drive in or out during the event.

 

Where can I store my personal belongings?
Solo athletes may place their own table in the designated solo zone near the start/finish. Here, they can set up their personal items and supplies.
Additionally, a vehicle may be parked in this zone, but please note: vehicles can only leave the premises after the event is finished. Leaving in between is not allowed.
If you are unable to bring your own table, the organization will provide a limited number of available tables.

 

Can I take a break during the event as a solo athlete?
Yes, solo athletes may rest at any time. However, keep in mind that the clock keeps running: the final score is based on the total number of kilometers completed within 24 hours / 12 hours / 6 hours or 3 hours.

TEAM QUESTIONS

Can I change my team members?
Yes, you can make changes to your registration, including modifying your team members, via your SQM Time account. This is possible until the day before the event.

 

Can I have more than 5 athletes in a team?
No, a team may consist of a maximum of 5 active team members.

 

Is the food at the aid station also for team members who are resting?
No, the aid station is exclusively for active athletes — meaning only participants who are currently running can use it.

Teams will receive a voucher for a pasta meal, which can be picked up in the canteen.

 

Do all team members need to register personally at the start?
No, only the team captain will pick up the race number and coach badge.

 

Can team members accompany each other while running?
Yes, team members may accompany each other, as long as only one active athlete is on the course at a time. Running together for warm-up or cool-down alongside the official runner is allowed, as long as it doesn’t hinder other participants.

 

How does the runner exchange work within a team?
Teams can decide when to make a change. Exchanges can only take place in the designated team zone. Be sure that the exchange is safe and smooth to avoid interfering with other athletes. You only need to pass the race number and chip.
The organization will provide you with a race number band that makes it easy to pass the number quickly.

SUPPORTERS QUESTIONS

Are supporters allowed to be present during the event?
Yes, supporters are warmly welcome to cheer on the athletes along the course!

 

Where are supporters allowed to stand?
Supporters are allowed to enter the cycling track to cheer on the athletes, but they must always be mindful of the running participants.
The running route must remain clear at all times.
Please note: supporters do not have access to the aid station tent; it is exclusively for running athletes and their coaches.

 

Can I enter the aid station or support tent as a supporter?
No, the aid station and support tent are exclusively accessible to running athletes and their coaches.

 

Can supporters also eat or drink on the premises?
Yes, supporters can purchase food and drinks at the canteen. The aid station supplies are strictly for participants and are not available to supporters.

 

Can supporters camp or stay overnight on the premises?
No, supporters are not allowed to camp or stay overnight in a tent, camper, or any other vehicle on the premises. Only participants are allowed to park a vehicle on the route or in the solo-zone.

 

Is there parking available for supporters?
Supporters can park in the parking lots outside the event area. On the information page, you will find a map of the parking areas. We recommend parking at P2.

 

Can supporters assist in the care of an athlete?
Only registered coaches have access to the aid station tent.
