General information
The 24hrs Sittard is an ultramarathon on a flat 1,500-meter course.
Participants can choose from several events: 24, 12, 6, or 3 hours.
Once the starting gun is fired, they have this time to cover as many kilometers as possible by completing as many laps as they can, running or jogging.
If a participant takes a break or rests, the clock continues to run.
When the time is up, a finishing signal will sound, and the number of laps and remaining meters completed by each participant will be recorded.
The final results are therefore ranked based on the total distance covered.
